Another Great way to introduce yourself.
Many people move into a new home thinking that everything is perfect, when in fact often times there are many little things that should be attended to right away.
A great way to introduce yourself is to offer to help (this works especially well if your new neighbor is completely new to the area) by recommending service providers that you have worked with in the past that were honest, did a great job, and didn't destroy your pocketbook.
Often a home may need to be painted, or the carpets professionaly cleaned. If they are new to the area they may not have a clue as to who they could call. Most people will feel better accepting a referral than choosing a provider blindly out of the local phone directory.
Let your experience help them out...a great way to make them feel welcome!
Invite your new neighbor
Need a last minute fill in for your monthly card club?
Maybe you need a last minute fourth for your weekly golf game.
Do you have a teenager who loves to babysit and your new neighbor has small children?
These are great ways to get to know your new neighbor and will help them to feel welcome to the neighborhood.
Remember what it was like when you first moved in?
